Daniel Siles

I started playing drums at age 13, under the guidance of Bolivian jazz drummer Daniel Zegada. A few years later, I enrolled in the National Conservatory of my native Bolivia where I studied for one year.
Finishing high school, I moved to Mexico City to study Music Performance at Academia de Música Fermatta. In Mexico, I co-founded "La Especialidad de la Casa" alongside my brother Juan Pablo, and the band went along to record and tour with many prominent artists in the country. After a 2-year period in Mexico, I transferred to Boston's Berklee College of Music, to further my music studies. I graduated magna cum laude in 2012 and relocated to Brooklyn, NY.
Since moving to New York, I've performed and recorded with various artists, and toured within the USA, Canada, Mexico, Europe and Australia.
